TEMPORARY LABOR SHIFTS: Although many businesses must consider temporarily laying off staff, other industries have temporary vacancies to fill. Here is a list curated by the Ravenna Area Chamber of Commerce and will be updated as new businesses become available.
Community Resilience Grants are available to support initiatives that mobilize residents to address significant needs in their community as a result of the novel coronavirus (e.g. diaper drives, toiletry drives, and letter drives). Grant awards will range between $500 to $2,000, and projects must take place prior to April 30, 2020.
UNEMPLOYMENT: If an employer downsizes or closes due to the coronavirus, its employees are eligible for unemployment, and are not required to wait one week or look for other work.
